Winlock sits in the farm country of southwestern Washington, between the larger hubs of Chehalis and Longview and not far from the route between Seattle and Portland. Life here is tied to open land, local schools, and the routines of nearby communities, with many residents balancing home in Winlock with work, shopping, and services elsewhere in Lewis County.
